In accordance with Cambodian Labor Law (“Labor Law”), all owners/directors of enterprises/establishments who are under provisions of Labor Law, and wish to employ foreign workforces in 2025 shall request quota and work permit for the foreign nationals.

In principle, the proportion of foreign workforces shall not exceed 10% of the total Cambodian employees in the enterprises/establishments including office employees for 3%, specialized employees for 6%, and non-specialized employees for 1% of Cambodian nationals.

The period for requesting quota is from 1 September to 30 November 2024, and the period for requesting work permit is from 1 January to 31 March 2025. Both quota and work permit shall be requested through: www.fwcms.mlvt.gov.kh.
